Ask Monsieur Anton Papierwaite.

Greetings!

I am Monsieur Anton Papierwaite, curator of the Museum of Mostly Natural History. I felt that perhaps my knowledge of things of the supernatural and occult may be of use and felt this, er, place would be a way to offer my services.

More he is a very lonely man and hoped that he would be able to actually meet others of the human variety without having to actually face them.

I told you to please leave my scrolls in peace!

Blog.

Whatever. That is Dr. Norrington. He will likely invade replies, my apologies. You may just ignore him.

So please, ask whatever you wish!

Hmph, no need to get touchy! I was merely ensuring our safety, as well as the safety of a great deal of people really! I did not want to see anything of the sort happening again… besides, you are talking to that girl with unimportant matters, why must I have an inquiry?

And you accused him of being touchy. It would be a sore subject with you as well, Papierwaite, had it been you. You have ensured the situation will not be occurring again, now leave the poor soul alone.

She was at least understanding and genuinely concerned! Unlike you, so far, who has been little except rather unwelcomingly brash and accusatory.

… Forgive me if I seem testy, Monsieur Papierwaite, but I feel I have already proven enough that you no longer have anything to fear regarding my actions… as your now-present counterpart has so thankfully noticed. As usual, he appears to be the one acting far more reasonable.

Why should she be concerned, she does not know you! I would say that is odd and is to be questioned, not admired!

Oh yes, much as you certainly aren’t letting your guard down and caring about that Josie girl or anyone else who bothers to pay attention to you. Stop being huffy, it doesn’t suit you.

You are only defensive of him because you are so desperate to have someone else to talk to!

… was that an attempt to insult me or?

Be quiet! Hmph. Anyway, I am understandings the drift you are attempting to send that you are no longer interested after the last time, I only wanted to ensure this! It is not something that can be merely swept under the carpet!

Rug. And as usual, you’re missing the point of ‘stop bothering him’.

She has done nothing but exemplify that she knows me far better than you surely appear to. It is only unusual in the sense that I wish it occurred more often, and it is certainly no reason for suspicion, of all things.

I would begin listening to your actually sensible Master’s words of guidance, if you do not wish to appear rather hypocritical. Aren’t you, in fact, overlooking your own previous, how should we say… less than honest actions, Monsieur Papierwaite? Actions which, if I recall correctly, you were quite easily forgiven for, with nary a mention of it ever again.

Hmph! It is still strange! Especially if she does indeed know what you caused! Do not say I did not warn you! Anyway, it is really no matter with you I suppose… and that was different! It… was a different circumstance and was not close to the same thing… besides, I made up for it, you have not done anything as such!

Repeating yourself in various ways is not helping your case, Papierwaite. Whining  and getting touchy doesn’t either, you should admit your mistake as he did. I’m sure if needed, he would be happy to supply assistance to begin mending the broken trust.
